SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Confrontation, known simply as SOCOM: Confrontation in PAL regions, was an online-only multiplayer tactical third-person shooter developed by Slant Six Games for PlayStation 3.

The severs were closed on 28 January 2014 making the game no longer playable.

PlayStation Home spaces[]

There were two spaces based upon Confrontation released for PlayStation Home, with assistance from the developer Outso. The first, titled Opposing Force, featured a selection of playable mini-games including 5-Finger Fillet, Gun Stripping (where players needed to move the joysticks in the position indicated to strip and reassemble an AK-47) and Golden AK-47 Assembly. Various t-shirts were available as rewards if the player was successful. With Golden AK-47 Assembly, the player needed to find seven parts hidden around the two spaces then assemble them. When complete, a Golden AK-47 could be unlocked for use in the full Confrontation game.

The second space was the Tactical Operations Center where players could view information on game maps, as well as collaborate and strategize with each other to enhance their Confrontation gameplay using the SOCOM telestrator.
