Sodium One, also known as the Salt Shooter, was a mini-game from Sodium that could be accessed as either a private space or public space. The objective list in Sodium Hub listed objectives for completing levels in both the private and public spaces.
The player controlled a hovering battle craft. The left analog stick controlled the direction that the craft moves. The right analog stick rotated a turret on top of the craft. It was very similar to many other popular tank games with the exception that these tanks hovered.
The primary objective was to aim at, shoot, and destroy waves of oncoming enemy craft. Most levels included multiple waves of oncoming enemies. Some were simple craft (similar to the player's craft). Others were stationary towers that caused extensive damage if the player got too close.
The player could upgrade weapons and armor to improve the chances of completing higher levels.
The first five levels were free to play. Beyond that, the player had to purchase the game.
