 PlayStation 3

Xi (stylised as the Greek letter: Ξ, "sai") was an alternate reality game released by nDreams in PlayStation Home. The game ran for twelve weeks commencing 23 March 2009.

Players were part of a worldwide conspiracy involving a corporation, a rogue employee and her friends A.F.K (away from keyboard). There were factions you could join to take sides. The game itself consisted of puzzles set to you by holomail or by Stapler, a loveable robot. There were two types of puzzle, either to gain fragments or to gain butterflies; in total 24 fragments and 20 butterflies. The fragments were the main goal in order to advance in the story, while Stapler's butterfly missions were side challenges.

  • 2, above some sliding glass doors outside the apartment.
  • 2, in a bookshelf on the half-wall separating the upper and lower levels.

  • 9, above the lower fireplace.

Once all numbers were found, the code 892125 could be used to open the safe.
